Driver Education
DRIVER EDUCATION SEGMENT 2 SCHEDULE
Register in the Guidance Office for one of the three-day sessions below.
Times for Segment 2 for all days listed below will be 3:00-5:00pm in room 701.
If you took Segment 1 at FHS last summer, Segment 2 is included for free. If you took Segment 1 elsewhere or prior to last summer, the cost is $50.
Students must attend ALL three days in the session they sign up for.
2024-2025 school year Segment 2 schedule:
You are required to practice driving for at least 30 hours, including at least 2 hours of night driving, before you can enroll in Segment 2. You will also need to show proof of hours and your Segment 1 license at the time of registration.

2025 Driver Education
Class will begin on Wednesday, June 4th, in the Flushing High School Auditorium from 3:15-5:15 pm. Registration has opened and any application turned in after the 96th student or the March 21st deadline will be waitlisted. We'll do our best to honor class time requests whenever possible and order applications were submitted.
Pricing will be $375 per student again this year. This cost covers BOTH Segment 1 and Segment 2. Students must be 14 years and 8 months of age by the first day of class (Birthday on or before Oct. 4, 2010).
You may pick up a registration packet from the Guidance Office. We also want to thank Suski Chevrolet for providing us with our cars.
