Driver Education
DRIVER EDUCATION SEGMENT 2:
Register in the Guidance Office for one of the three-day sessions below.
Times for Segment 2 for all days listed below will be 3:00-5:00pm in room 701.
If you took Segment 1 at FHS last summer, Segment 2 is included for free. If you took Segment 1 elsewhere or before last summer, the cost is $50.
Please note that students must attend all three days of the session they sign up for.

You are required to practice driving for at least 30 hours, including at least 2 hours of night driving, before you can enroll in Segment 2. You will also need to show proof of hours and your Segment 1 license at the time of registration.
The $345 cost covers BOTH Segment 1 and Segment 2. Students must be 14 years and 8 months of age by the first day of class (Birthday on or before Oct. 4, 2012). All information and registration forms can be found on the FHS website under the Driver Education tab. Each of these forms must be completed and turned in (together) to the high school guidance office to secure a spot. Payments can be made by check, cash, or Flushing e-funds.
